The website www.slovakiataxi.sk is operated by GRAND SERVICE s.r.o.
Transfer services are provided by GRAND SERVICE s.r.o. or contractual partners of GRAND SERVICE s.r.o.
A vehicle is a standard sedan, combi or van vehicle with a maximum of 9 seats, including the driver’s seat.
A coach is a vehicle with more than 9 seats, including the driver’s seat.
Vehicles are used exclusively for the transfer of passengers and their luggage.
Transfer is provided in the territory of the Slovak Republic, EU Member States and non-EU countries.
A Voucher is a document that entitles passengers to use the services of GRAND SERVICE s.r.o under specified terms and conditions.
The following General Terms and Conditions set the terms and conditions between the transfer company ("the Company") and passengers using itsinland public transport services and the conditions under which the Company provides services.
Through these transfer contracts, the Company undertakes to transport the passenger and his luggage safely and on the basis of a pre-booked route.
The passenger undertakes to pay the Company for the services provided.
A contract between the Company and the client shall be concluded only if the client undertakes to pay for the services provided.
A voucheris considered by the Company as an existing agreement with the passenger.
A voucherincludes the name of the company, date, time, route and price for transport. This confirmation may be in electronic form or printed.
A voucheris issued for each booking, i.e. for one or more journeys. The Company undertakes to provide the service on the date, at the time and based on the route specified in the voucher.
For a single journey, the passenger is obliged to confirm the date and time of transport.
For a return journey, the passenger is obliged to confirm the date and time of transport for both journeys.
The price of a return journey is calculated by doubling the price of a single journey. Depending on the route, discountsmay apply at the discretion of the Company.
Transport can be booked exclusively via the web site www.slovakia-taxi.sk or via e-mail sent to email@example.com. It is not possible to make a booking by phone.
Changes to the data given in the vouchercan be made upon the passenger’s request sent via e-mail at least 2 hours prior to the journey from the territory of the Slovak Republic and at least 24 hours for a journey outside the Slovak Republic. In case the route is changed, such changes are subject to extra charges. All changes must be confirmed by e-mail by the Company.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DETAILS SAFETY
Your credit/debit card details are provided to guarantee a booking or for a pre-payment. We use secured encryption to protect credit/debit card details to prevent potential hacker attacks.
Payments can be made only in euro /€ /.
Payment in advance is made within 24 hours.
To pay for the services, passengers can choose from two options:
a/ payment in cash paid to the driver. A tax document valid on the territory of the Slovak Republic will be sent to the e-mail address given at the time of booking after the end of the journey or service provision.
b/ payment in advance by credit card. A tax document valid on the territory of the Slovak Republic will be sent to the e-mail address specified at the time of booking after the end of the journey or service provision.
The Company undertakes to refund the amountpaid by the passenger in the event of cancellation of transfer and unused services, namely:
Vehicles of the "standard" category
100% refund on the transport feefor cancellations made up to 5 days before the booked journey.
50% refund on the transport feefor cancellations made up to 24 hours before the booked journey.
0% refund on the transport feefor cancellationsmade less than 24 hours before the bookedjourney.
Vehicles of the "business" and “luxury” category
100% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made up to24 hoursbefore the booked journey.
50% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made up to2 hoursbefore the booked journey.
0% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made less than 2 hoursbefore the booked journey.
Vehicles of the "minibus" and “coach” category
100% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made up to 5 days before the booked journey.
50% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made up to 24 hours before the booked journey.
0% refund on the transport fee for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booked journey.
If the passenger requestsa cancellation of a return journey, refunds specified in the above-mentioned conditions will apply only for the first part of the journey. For the second journey, the whole amount will be refunded, i.e. 100%.
If the customer opts for a cash payment at the time of booking and refuses to pay for the service provided, the Company will withdraw the amount from the credit card provided by the client at the time of booking.
If the passenger considers the service to be unsatisfactory, he is entitled to send a written complaint to the Company in accordance with these Terms and Conditions no later than 30 days after the provision of the service. The company is obliged to respond to the complaint by email no later than 30 days after the receipt of the complaint. The customer shall not make any public statements regarding his complaint until the Company issues a final opinion.
A passenger who used services of another transport company instead of the services of GRAND SERVICE s.r.o to whom he had paid for services is not entitled to a refund.
If the passenger does not show up at the pick-up point 15 minutes after the agreed time, he will be contacted by phone. If the passenger cannot be reached by phone, the driver is allowed to leave. In such case, the passenger is not entitled to a refund. This does not apply in the event of a delayed flight, bus or train.
The passenger has the right to cancel the transfer more than 5 days before the date of transfer for "standard" and "minibus" and "coach" vehicles free of charge.
The passenger has the right to cancel the transfer more than 24 hours before the date of transfer for "business" vehicles free of charge.
Changes to transport dates are not subject to extra fee. Only changes to the starting and/or final destination or vehicle type are charged extra.
The passenger must ensure that all information provided by him at the time of booking is true and correct.
When booking airport transfer, the passenger must bear in mind that it is advisable to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. Therefore, it is necessary to add at least 2 hours to the duration of the journey in order to avoid late arrival to the airport.
The duration of the journey between destination A and destination B is calculated by Google Maps. It is recommended to add 10-20% to this duration.
The time of departure is decided solely by the passenger and the Company cannot be held responsible for delays due to heavy traffic or weather conditions.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE PASSENGER
Upon receipt of the voucher, the Passenger is obliged to carefully check all details and data stated in this voucher. The passenger accepts and agrees with the data stated in the voucher. Any changes or errors must be reported to the customer service department via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the Passenger does not report changes or errors in the voucher, all data shall be deemed correct.
The passenger is required to board and leave the vehicle in places specified in the voucher. The passenger is required to make sure that the transport is carried out by GRAND SERVICE s.r.o or by its contractual partners.
Upon request, the Passenger is required to show the voucherin an electronic or printed form.
If the passenger wishes to take a short break during their journey, he is required to return to the vehicle as soon as possible.
The company has the right to refuse transport if it is discovered that safety of passengers is not and cannot be guaranteed. This provision is applicable particularly in situations where transport is booked for disabled passengers in need of specialized transport.
The company may interrupt and/or refuse to provide transport under the following conditions:
- the passenger’s behaviourbothers the staff of the Company
- the passenger’s behaviour jeopardizes the safety of the staff of the Company and other passengers
- the passenger’s behaviourrepresents a risk for the safety of transport
Passengers travelling with children are required to book a suitable type of child car seat. If they fail to do so, transport may be refused without any right for refund.
If any of these conditions results in early termination of transport, passengers will be given their luggage and asked to leave the vehicle. Under such circumstances, the Company is entitled to keep the amount that was charged or that was supposed to be charged for the transport.
If the passenger intentionally or negligently damages the vehicle, he is obliged to compensate the Company for damage and repair costs.
During the journey, the passenger is obliged to use the seat belt and to comply with all necessary safety measures laid down by legal regulations. Passengers cannot leave their seats and move around until the vehicle stops.
In the event of a road accident, the passenger is responsible for any consequences arising from his failure to follow safety regulations.
The passenger is obliged to comply with all transport standards and regulations in all countries through which he is carried. The passenger is required to follow all necessary procedures related to personal documents, such as having a passport, visa and other identification documents.
The Passenger is required to provide the Company with a valid telephone number and e-mail address.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE COMPANY
The company is responsible for the rates of transport services specified and available at www.slovakiataxi.sk.
The company reserves the right to apply different discounts for categories of passengers.
The Company accepts reservations and provides its services to any person who meets the standards laid down in these Terms and Conditions.
Transport shall be refused to:
- persons carrying weapons
- persons showing clear signs of mental disorders, infectious diseases, as well as passengers with open and untreated wounds / with the exception of people who need to be transported to the nearest hospital /
- persons under the age of 15 who are not accompanied by parents or legal guardians.
- persons wearing dirty clothes when it is obvious that they would stain the vehicle.
- persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other addictive substances and persons who display aggressive behaviour towards others.
- persons whose clothesare not suitable for transport, e.g. swimwear, underwear, etc.
In the event of a road accident, in which the vehicle carrying the passenger was a participant or the culprit, the Company undertakes to provide the passenger with reasonable and adequate assistance. If it is established that the Company was the guilty party in a road accident, it will provide passengers with an alternative transport or accommodation for one night. Accommodation costs may not be higher than EUR 50.00 per night.
In accordance with Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on Personal Data Protection, the Company undertakes to treat all data provided by the passenger for the purposes of the execution of theTransport Agreement in a confidential and secret manner and shall never share this information without an explicit consent of the passenger. This does not apply if such information is required by law or by an authorized public body. / e.g. the police/
Amendments, additions or deletion of passenger's personal data shall be made on the basis of a written request sent by the passenger via e-mail or via a contact form on the website.
Any disputes between passengers arising from transport shall be settled by the driver of the vehicle. Any potential disputes between passengers and the driver shall be settled by an employee of the Company.
A confirmation of reading and understanding these Terms and Conditions is an integral part of the Transport Agreement. These Terms and Conditionstake effect immediately and are available on the websitewww.slovakiataxi.sk.
